Caprice in Indiana

 Week 7 Email :

Hey yall! Sorry that I didn't send out an email last week I lost my phone. Haha but I found it and I am able to communicate with the world once again!  Also thanks to each of you who  have reached out and wished me happy birthday! I'm not really aloud to respond on  Facebook but I can see all the messages and I appreciate it ! 

This week has been crazy, my two companions and I have been running around like a chickens with our heads cut off. We are just crazy busy. We've been able to teach a lot of lessons and surprisingly we've had a lot of success tracting! We hand out Book of Mormons like hot cakes! However with all the success we also have a lot of disappointments.  Opposition in all things, am I right ?!? Rough. However I don't want to focus on the sad disappointments because that will make me sad and I'm sure no one wants to read a sad depressing email.  Soo I want to focus on all the good! There is so much good and joy when we serve the lord. I have felt so much love from my savior and my heavenly father in these past few weeks its amazing! I see their love through my scripture study and the way my scriptural questions have been answered. I see their love through my family and the members of the ward here. Their love is surrounding me and each of you ! 

 

For the miracle this week! 

Our friend has been struggling a lot with the Word Of Wisdom. Mainly because her living situation is not ideal. She is living with someone who isn't the best influence and is tempting her to not  follow the commandments. She also needed a better job so she could afford to move out. She had been really struggling with this for a little over a month. Finally she called us and said " sisters I know that as I put my faith in the Lord he will provide. I know that as I trust him that I will be able to find me an  affordable  place to live and a better job"  she then asked us to pray with her and for her. We said a group prayer and we pleaded with the Lord to help our sweet friend. We hung up the phone knowing that we just needed to be patient and the lord would provide. Within minutes we got a call back from our sweet friend  saying that she found a job! We were overjoyed! She said it was exactly what she was looking for and paid much more then her last job. We hung up again and went about our day. We were  thankful for the miracle but still trusting that our friend would be able to find a better place to live. Later that night we got another call, she told us that she found a place to live and it was in her budget!  Within 6 hours the Lord had answered our prayers and blessed his child with exactly what she needed. What a blessing! 

I love knowing that God loves me and knows  me! He loves all of his kids and he wants us to succeed! Love all of you ! Until next week -Sister Whitney
